Life is short

Some scholars like to share their curriculum vitae on their website. A CV is a document that lists their activities and qualifications, to communicate the Latin meaning of the term: the "course of [one's] life." It's expected to be extensive and longer than one's résumé (which is French for summary, a concise variant of the same concept).

There will be no such thing here, since I want to stay anonymous.

Instead, I'm starting a page called vita brevis, which is Latin for "life is short."

It's a page that lists what I think (my) life is too short for. Partly so that I can remind myself to not sweat the small stuff, partly so that others may derive some good out of it, and mostly because it seems like a healthy way to vent and develop self-kindness.
